ViRobot GatewayWall is a mail server disinfection solution designed with Hauri's unique ViRobot technologies. It not only scans to block and remove spam mails, but also viruses. It provides mail server administrative capability by using the web user interface environment from any place at any time. This is a superb mail server disinfection solution with a powerful log creation function that can help mail server administrator to identify mail server performance.
Blocks viruses received through mail
All messages sent and received via e-mail are scanned and monitored by ViRobot GatewayWall in real time for spam mail and viruses before ever reaching the systems to prevent any damages to the data. When a virus-infected message is detected, an alert is sent to the mail server administrator, recipient, and sender of the message.
Convenient log and backup management
You can view the log for results of virus detection during system self-test or file scan when sending or receiving e-mail. The infected file will be stored for backup so that it can be retrieved when necessary. The schedule and size of the log can be changed and backup for system management.
Provides user interface through the web browser
ViRobot GatewayWall allows administrators to easily configure it to detect and remove viruses by using the web interface from a remote location. Module or patch updates with new functions and execution files can be performed remotely via the web interface or console mode.
Scans compressed files
ViRobot GatewayWall can scan various compressed file formats including ZIP, ARJ (JAR), LZH (LHA), RAR, and ACE. It will detect and remove any virus in the multi-compressed files down to 3 levels compression.
Filtering
ViRobot GatewayWall offers a powerful filtering technology to block e-mail viruses that have been spreading rapidly through the global network. It includes filtering technology that blocks infected attached files before reaching the system. It also filters and blocks emails based on subjects, contents, senders or IP address, email size to prevent spam mails, and avoid network overload.
