1. Patch of security vulnerability using by Cookie
- vulnerability : vulnerable web management console using by Cookie
- Amendment : amended the cgi vulnerability caused by HTTP_COOKIE
- Importance of patch : In case of non-patch, the directory can be detected by cgi vulnerability.
2. How to patch
1. Please download "vrpatch-vrfs-[Language]-linux_x86-20060302.tar" from the download webpage.
2. Get the root authority.
(If log-in by root or general user account, convert it to root by ' su - ' command.
3. decompress by the below tar command in the directory that has vrpatch-vrfs-[Language]-linux_x86-20060302.tar
# tar xvf vrpatch-vrfs-[Language]-linux_x86-20060302.tar
4. When decompress it, the below files will be made.
# ls -al
vrpatch
vrpatch.dat
5. After executing it without any options, the patch will be done.
# ./vrpatch
6. The time for the patch may take few minutes according to system options.
When executing the file again, the message "the patch was done already" will be appeared.
